The Bud Light Super Bowl 2019 rebate website was created to celebrate the winning team. In the end with the Patriots being victorious, Bud Light wanted to pay for a Bud Light beer on them. To do that, a rebate website needed to be created to reimburse consumers for at least one Bud Light purchase.
The purpose of this rebate promotion for Bud Light was to get consumers involved with the 2019 Super Bowl to celebrate the winning teams victory. Bud Light wanted to contribute by giving the consumers the ability to claim a beer on them by answering a few age limit questions, and submitting a receipt to claim a $5 rebate for their drink purchase.
As a team, we were challenged with a one week deadline to accomplish the front-end, back-end, and to get the system completely set-up for validation and reimbursement. Since we did not know the winning team, two websites needed to be created for the Patriots and the Rams so that way the website could go live as soon as the victor was declared and the game was over. My tasks and priorities were to create and complete the font-end HTML and CSS of two websites and then to flawlessly hand it off to the developer within 24 hours. During the course of the week, I aided in working closely with the developer, Business Analyst, and the QA Analyst to successfully execute the website to the finish-line.
Website Creative Liberties:
The website was created using a rebate promotion template. The client provided a banner image for the desktop and mobile versions of the responsive website along with specific colors for both teams (the Patriots and Rams). The design and front-end HTML was develop by utilizing the clients creative brand/s and promotional materials to create two websites using a bootstrap framework.
